What are the required documents to start selling on Shoppymore?

The company's online shopping portal offers various products across a range of categories. It is a platform tailored for providing customers with an easy, secure, and fast online shopping experience through strong payment and logistical support.

What are the required documents to start selling on Shoppymore?

There is no contract signing required. Only document verifications are needed. New sellers are required to upload mandatory documents in the seller center to start selling.

1. What are the legal requirement documents required to become a seller on Shoppymore?

For Individual Seller (Local):

  • Business Owner's Malaysian Identity Card (NRIC) front and back

  • Bank Saving Account Statement (Personal account following NRIC)

Note: Bank statement should be generated from financial institution or via online portal only. Please ensure bank name (Maybank, RHB, CIMB etc), bank account number and beneficiary name (company name) are clearly visible.

For Individual Seller (Foreigner):

  • Business Owner’s Passport copy
  • Permanent Visa
  • Bank Saving Account Statement (Personal account following passport)


  • Bank Saving Account Statement (Personal account following NRIC)

Business Seller Required Documents (Local & Foreigner):

  • Business Owner's Malaysian Identity Card - NRIC (Local)

  • Business Owner’s Passport copy and Permanent Visa (Foreigner)


  • Business Bank Account Statement (Following Registered Business Name in SSM)

  • SSM (Companies Commission of Malaysia) Certificate Registration of a Company (Form E/Form13/FORM9/Section17)



  • Current Owner Information Details page/ List of Directors information details page (FORM 49/Section 14)


The remaining document verification is only required when you receive your first order.

2. Am I allowed to use one SSM for multiple stores on Shoppymore?

No. One SSM registration is only allowed for one store at one time. This is also followed by one unique email address and contact number for each store. You’re not allowed to use the same SSM to different stores as stated in Shoppymore Seller Agreement.

3. Where can I find the seller agreement specifically on not allowed to have multiple stores.

4. If the SSM has expired. Can I still submit that SSM?

No. Only updated/renewed SSM is accepted. Please ensure the validity of at least one (1) month during submission. If expired documentation is submitted, it will be rejected and you have to renew and re-upload the document again.

5. As for SSM owner information/list of directors (form 49), what are document required?

The seller needs to submit a complete set of SSM forms (Form 9) as a certification in the Incorporation of a Private Company. If the seller fails to submit Form 9 then the Seller will need to provide other supporting documents like Form 49 or Form 24 to identify the director of the company. 6. What types of file format can I use to upload my documents?

You can upload your documents in the image file, PDF or MS Word.

7. How long will be the verification process takes?

The verification process takes approximately 2 to 5 working days.

8. I have submitted contract with all supporting documents. Why is my application rejected?

If provided documents are unclear (information is not visible/blurred) application will be rejected. Please ensure that the submitted documents are scanned and attached properly and accordingly.

9. Can I provide bank statement from previous year?

No, only the latest updated bank statement of the current year is acceptable. No, only the latest updated bank statement of the current year is acceptable. As it is also for finance verification for payout, you need to upload clear files especially for Bank Name, Account Holder Name, and Account Number.
